General Registration hours:

Saturday, July 6th – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 7th – 8 a.m. -12:00 Noon.
CARS IN CAMP: One persistent and legitimate Reenactor complaint is that cars in the camp during the event significantly detracts from everyone’s experience. The solution is to simply be considerate, get unloaded and remove your vehicle immediately after unloading – then return and set-up. Vehicles will only be allowed into camp during public hours with emergency permission. The emergency permission is obtained from US or CS command in writing. Military provosts will assist in enforcing this regulation. Be advised that violating vehicles will be towed and impounded near the command center by event security and will then be released upon payment of $100 towing fee to cover cost of removal. The vast majority of reenactors request and fully support this policy.
TRASH BAGS: Every registered Reenactor will be provided with an individual trash bag at registration. Please respect the property owners who graciously allow us access to their beautiful farms. Reenactment sites are precious and we all want to be invited to return. If you place full trash bags in the area of the camp firewood piles they will be collected daily. For those camping in wooded areas total cleanup is especially critical prior to breaking camp.
FIREPITS: These are working farms with hard working owners that are proud of their land. Farm equipment must travel on these fields. For the sake of courtesy and safety please carefully restore and repair any soil disturbance!
ICE: 20 lb. bags of ice will be available for purchase ($5 per bag) at the registration barn, and will be brought to the camps several times a day.
SHOWERS: The Gettysburg YWCA has graciously agreed to make shower facilities for your convenience at their facility located at 909 Fairfield Road, Gettysburg for a minimal $5 usage charge per person payable at the YWCA. YWCA Shower hours will be: Friday, July 5 – 6 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday July 6 – 6 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday, July 8 – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
CAMP DANCE: Again this year, the 2nd South Carolina String Band will be conducting the dance on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. in the Activities Tent.
RELIGIOUS SERVICES: On Sunday morning at 9:00 Reverend Farley’s Civil War Period service will be conducted in Activities Tent and a Catholic Civil War Mass in the Youth Activities Tent.
LOST & FOUND: Please bring any lost & found items to the command center or go to the public address area.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: There will be a large and diverse variety of food and beverages available during the event. Breakfast will be served daily beginning at 6am at the hay barn overhang near the visitor entrance.
SAFETY & SECURITY: Both the command center and event security will operate 24 hours. Security personnel, EMS staff, Reenactor parking staff and gate staff, as well as military command staff, have direct communication with the EMS and the command center in the event of an emergency or serious incident. The Command Center phone number is 717-334-6111.
We sincerely thank you for your participation and hope you enjoy the weekend. We wish you safe travel to and from the event. Please be very conscious of the safety rules and regulations at all times during the event for your safety as well as, the safety of others! Remember lets all look at for out for another – and if you see something say something!
